Summary:Alex Fuentes is your average bad boy. He's the Latino guy with the tattoos, motorcycle, and is a gang member. Brittany Ellis is your average prom queen. She's is popular, pretty, and looks like she has it all. As much as they may both hate each other they are landed in the same chemistry class for their senior year, and as much as they try their teacher will not change their group assignment, so they just have to make the best of it. Everyone has secrets and things they try and keep from others to preserve their image. Alex and Brittany try and do just that but they learn you can't hide for ever, especially when love gets involved.
Thoughts: Perfect Chemistry sounds like your typical boy likes girl, girl likes boy. They fall in love even though the world thinks they can't be together. Yes it really is about that, but it is also one of the best books I have ever read. Elkeles just has a way to add such twists and amazing plot that its a book you just can't but down.
